Built by a pilot
— Philosophy

Every app I tried either did one thing well, or six things badly. So I built the one I'd actually fly with.

Altivra began the way most pilot tools should begin — on a layover, in a hotel room, after a ten-hour duty. I was reconciling a duty roster from one app, a logbook from another, a fatigue tracker built in a spreadsheet, and a pay calculator I'd cobbled together over the years. Every tool knew its own job. None of them knew about each other.

The modern flight deck is a masterpiece of integration. The instruments talk. The automation understands intent. Yet the pilot's own life — our flights, our rest, our pay — lives in a patchwork of apps that haven't spoken since the sim session that introduced them.

Altivra is the refusal of that patchwork. One app. Six tools. Every module aware of every other. Your roster feeds your rest tracker. Your logbook feeds your pay verification. Your fatigue feeds your briefing. The flight deck stays uncluttered, because the deck you live with should be as elegant as the one you fly.

Built by an airline pilot. Designed for every flight.
The status quo

Your flying life lives in six different places.

Paper, PDFs, crew portals, spreadsheets, sticky notes. Information scattered across apps that don't know each other exist. Every pilot has built this mess. Altivra ends it.

01A paper logbook you're afraid to lose
02An airline crew portal that never sleeps
03A spreadsheet that tracks your fatigue
04A pay calculator you built yourself
05Browser tabs for weather, NOTAMs, fuel
06Notes app for layover recommendations
The system

One app. Six integrated tools.

Every module knows about every other. Your roster feeds your rest tracker. Your logbook feeds your pay. Your fatigue feeds your briefing. Finally in sync.

01 — BRIEFING

Briefing Room

Weather, route, and crew briefing for every sector — auto-pulled the night before. Walk to the plane already prepared.

02 — ROSTER

Wingman

Smart roster that auto-imports from any airline system. Duty, rest, and block hours at a glance. With Wingman+ AI built in — included with HEAVY.

03 — REST

Rest & Fatigue

FRMS-aware tracking with a circadian-timed layover advisor. Reads sleep data from any source you already use — ring trackers, fitness wearables, Apple Watch, or manual entry. Know when you're safe to fly, and when your body needs to sleep.

04 — LOGBOOK

Digital Logbook

Every flight, every hour, every airport — visualized on a world map. Logbook migration from any major pilot app or spreadsheet format. PDF export that looks official. FlightAware auto-enrichment ships with SUPER in v1.1.

05 — PAY

Pay Verification

Verify every payslip against your contract. 15 rule types, multi-currency, variance alerts when the airline pays you wrong.

06 — INSIGHTS

Insights

Your career in numbers. Hours by aircraft, routes flown, airports visited, year-over-year growth. The story your logbook can't tell.

Outcomes

Why pilots pay for Altivra.

Features are the means. Outcomes are the point. Altivra pays for itself before the renewal arrives.

OUTCOME I

Hours saved

Auto-imported rosters. FlightAware-enriched logbook. PDF payslip parsing. What used to take an hour of hotel-room admin becomes thirty seconds.

OUTCOME II

Money recovered

Pay verification catches the per-diem your airline forgot, the night-stop premium miscoded, the sick-day allowance unpaid. The average commercial pilot recovers Altivra's yearly cost in a single payslip cycle.

OUTCOME III

Fatigue under control

FRMS-aware rest tracking. Circadian-timed layover advice. Know when to sleep, when to train, when to say no. Less stress, better decisions, safer flights.

OUTCOME IV

The pride of a tool that matches the profession

The flight deck you fly is a masterpiece of engineering. Your tooling should be too. Altivra is the first pilot app that looks and feels like it belongs in a jet.

Crafted for the flight deck

Native SwiftUI. Offline-first.
EFB-ready.

Altivra is built the way premium flight-deck instruments are built — deliberately, natively, with respect for the hands that will use it at FL380 with bad Wi-Fi.

I

Native, not wrapped

Written in Swift and SwiftUI. No Electron. No web wrapper. Feels fast on an iPad Mini, gorgeous on a 13" Pro.

II

Offline-first

Every module works without a connection. Changes sync when you're back online. You never lose an entry to spotty hotel Wi-Fi.

III

Your iCloud, your data

Encrypted in iCloud so your data syncs across your devices — and nobody else's. Export everything. Delete at any time.

IV

iPhone companion v1.1

A focused companion on your phone — roster glance, fatigue check-in, quick logbook entries. The deck in your pocket. Arrives with Apple Watch basics in v1.1.

Pricing

Honest pricing.
Founding loyalty rewarded.

A 30-day trial that's full HEAVY, not a reduced preview. A HEAVY tier that replaces what most pilots pay across five fragmented subscriptions. A SUPER tier arriving in v1.1 when AI and live flight tracking are ready, server-side cost-protected. And a reward for the pilots who believed first.

Notify me when SUPER ships

SUPER tier ships with Altivra v1.1. The Wingman+ premium quotas and FlightAware enrichment need a secure, cost-protected server-side rollout before we're comfortable putting them behind a paywall. Founding 500 members get early access the moment SUPER ships — and can upgrade by paying the tier difference; the Founding HEAVY rate stays locked regardless.

The badge

What is
Founding Captain?

Founding Captain is not a feature tier. It is a designation reserved for the first 500 pilots who chose Altivra.

In aviation, Captain is the rank earned through years of command. Founding Captain extends that same idea: a recognition earned by arriving first, marked by a numbered badge that stays with you for life.

The tier grants every HEAVY feature — briefing, fatigue awareness, aircraft history, crew memory, airport intelligence, reports, and connected tools — at a price locked for life at $79/year. SUPER tier remains the upgrade path when it ships in v1.1.

Founding Captain · 500 seats, numbered, for life.

Frequently asked

Questions pilots ask first.

When does Altivra launch?
v1.0 launches August 2026. We're using the time to ship right, not fast. Public launch happens once the Founding 500 have worn-tested every module at altitude and in the crew room. Join the waitlist to be first in line.
What's the difference between HEAVY and SUPER?

HEAVY ($99/yr) is the complete tier for a working pilot: unlimited logbook, auto roster import, full FRMS with Layover Advisor and Sleep Planner, HealthKit integration (ring trackers, fitness wearables, Apple Watch — anything that feeds into Apple Health), Briefing Room, pay verification with the dispute workflow no other pilot app has, iPhone companion, Apple Watch basics, Wingman+ AI assistant. If you want a single app that replaces the patchwork most pilots juggle — HEAVY is it. HEAVY launches with v1.0.

SUPER ($159/yr) adds three things HEAVY doesn't: FlightAware enrichment (real routing, live tracking, auto-block-times), Wingman+ premium quotas (higher AI limits for power users), and Apple Watch advanced features (on-wrist AI fatigue alerts, HRV correlation, real-time alertness coaching, premium complications). SUPER ships with v1.1 — deliberately deferred so the FlightAware proxy and Wingman+ premium server-side cost controls roll out properly, not as half-finished features.

How does the Founding 500 lifetime lock-in work?

The first 500 pilots who subscribe to Founding 500 lock in $79/year for HEAVY — for as long as they stay subscribed. Even when public HEAVY pricing rises after launch (it will), your $79 HEAVY rate never moves.

To be fully transparent: your lock-in is specifically for the HEAVY tier. Every new feature that ships inside HEAVY — new reports, platform improvements, tier-internal enhancements — arrives at your Founding rate at no extra cost.

The SUPER tier is a separate, higher subscription ($159/yr) arriving in v1.1 that adds FlightAware enrichment, Wingman+ premium, and Apple Watch advanced features. If you ever want SUPER, you can upgrade at any time by paying the tier difference, and your HEAVY rate stays locked. Founding 500 members get early access the moment SUPER ships.

Cancellation forfeits the grandfathered rate permanently. Resubscription happens at the current public HEAVY rate.

Is my data private?
Your roster, logbook, fatigue, and pay data are yours. Stored encrypted in your iCloud so they sync across your devices and nobody else's. Never sold. Never shared with your airline. Export everything and delete your account at any time.
Does it work offline?
Yes — Altivra is offline-first. Every module works at FL380, in the crew room, at a layover hotel on bad Wi-Fi. Changes sync automatically when you're back online. You never lose a logbook entry to spotty connectivity.
What iPad do I need?
Any iPad running iPadOS 17 or newer. Altivra is built natively with SwiftUI — it feels fast on an iPad Mini and looks gorgeous on a 13" Pro. If your airline already approved your iPad as an EFB, you're good.
Will it import my airline's roster?
Yes. Altivra parses native PDF roster formats from most major airlines, plus ICS calendar feeds (which works with almost every crew system). If your airline's format isn't supported yet, send us the PDF and we'll add it — usually a few days of work.
Is it EFB-approved?
Altivra is not a certified EFB — it's a personal productivity app for pilots. It lives alongside your company EFB and handles the parts those apps don't touch: your personal logbook, rest, pay, and career data. Some airlines allow Altivra on the same iPad as your EFB; check with your operator.
Can I import my existing logbook?
Yes. Logbook migration from any major pilot logbook app or any standard CSV/spreadsheet format. The importer handles common aircraft type codes and airport codes automatically, and flags anything ambiguous for you to confirm. Bring your full career — every hour, every airport, every aircraft.
Do I need an Apple Watch for the fatigue features?

No. Altivra reads sleep data from Apple HealthKit, which aggregates input from any source you already use — Apple Watch, ring trackers, fitness wearables, or manual entry in the Health app. At v1.0 launch, this lives on iPad — your sleep data flows into HealthKit and then into Altivra automatically, regardless of which tracker you use.

A dedicated Altivra Apple Watch app (notifications, on-wrist quick checks, sleep tracking direct) and iPhone companion arrive in v1.1, included with HEAVY.

Advanced Watch-only features (on-wrist AI fatigue alerts, HRV correlation, real-time coaching, premium complications) require Apple Watch and ship with SUPER tier in v1.1.

Who is Altivra built for?
Every pilot who logs flights. Commercial airline pilots are the core — the roster import, payslip dispute workflow, and crew memory features were built around the airline workflow. But the logbook, fatigue tracking, calculators, EFB tools, and airport intelligence fit any pilot: regional, corporate, GA, helicopter, military. If you fly and you log it, Altivra was built for you.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes — HEAVY is $99/year or $12.99/month. SUPER (v1.1) is $159/year or $19.99/month. The Founding 500 tier is annual only at $79/yr — it's a commitment to the early journey in exchange for lifetime pricing.
What is Wingman+?
An AI assistant, powered by Claude, that understands your roster, logbook, and rest data together. Ask questions in plain English — "when's my next long-haul?", "how many layovers in Tokyo this quarter?", "do I have enough rest for the LHR pairing?" — and get instant answers. Included in HEAVY with sensible usage caps. SUPER tier (v1.1) unlocks premium quotas for power users.
What about FlightAware live tracking? I'm worried about cost.

Live tracking is a SUPER tier feature shipping in v1.1. It works one of two ways:

1. Included quota: SUPER subscribers get 100 FlightAware queries per month included. If you want more, you can buy bundles ($9.99 for 50 additional queries, $19.99 for 150).

2. BYOK (bring your own key): If you already have an AeroAPI account (many airline pilots have one through work or for personal projects), you can connect it to Altivra for unlimited queries. The cost stays on your AeroAPI account, not on your Altivra subscription.

HEAVY tier has no FlightAware access. If you want it, you upgrade to SUPER.

How does FlightAware enrichment work?
Every flight you log is automatically matched against FlightAware's real-time flight data — actual routing, gate and terminal assignments, real block times, diversions. You don't have to enter anything manually beyond the flight number and date. The enrichment runs server-side so your iPad isn't making API calls. It's a SUPER-tier feature arriving in Altivra v1.1 (the per-flight API cost is why it lives in the premium tier — we wanted the server-side cost controls rock-solid before charging for it).
Will prices go up after launch?
Yes — deliberately. The $99/yr HEAVY rate is intentionally priced under what most pilots are paying across multiple fragmented apps. Once Altivra matures past public launch, HEAVY pricing will rise (likely toward $119/yr in a future cycle). SUPER starts at $159/yr and is unlikely to drop. Founding 500 members are immune to all future increases — the $79/yr rate stays locked on HEAVY for as long as you stay subscribed.
